Cruise control for Grimme Rexor

The main update to the six-row Grimme Rexor 6200 and 6300 self-propelled beet harvesters for next season is Speedtronic-Cruise. This actively controls the drive system making life easier for the driver. It also protects the components from overloads.Based on the selected driving mode, the system automatically regulates the forward speed depending on the crop load through different parts of the harvester. For the 2024 campaign, the two Rexors can now be optionally equipped with a plastic bunker cover. This covering consists of a PE plate at the rear right – opposite the unloading elevator. Grimme says that the new plate significantly helps to minimise beet tip breakages and damage during unloading. Also new is a rubber cover attached to the rear wall of the bunker. This prevents the build-up of moist, sticky soil and is said to be easier to clean at the end of the season.Bunker capacity remains at 30m³ (6200) and 45m³ (6300) and there are no changes in the engine department. Both harvesters are still powered by a 653hp Stage V motor. For more up-to-date farming news click here and subscribe now to profi and save 47%.Share this: TwitterFacebookRedditWhatsApp by Steven Vale More From This Author
