Merlo returns with compact TurboFarmer

Merlo is using this week’s Agritechnica to announce its return to the compact telehandler market with a 2.0m-wide and high machine that packs a powerful punch lifting 3.0t to 7.0m.The long-awaited successor to the P32.6, which disappeared from the radar nearly eight years ago, the new TF30.7 will be welcomed on mixed/livestock farms where building access width and height are an issue.Despite the compact dimensions, the new model uses the same cab as the rest of the range, although to get it to fit meant offsetting the boom slightly. If the standard cab is still too high then the low-profile version lowers this by 10cm, while the suspended cab option raises it to 2.2m. The four-pot Deutz Stage V block provides 101hp and the top speed of the hydrostatic tranny is 40km/hr.Price with the standard cab is £94,000, and includes a hydraulically operated rear pick-up hitch, 100l/min hydraulics and 250 bar pressure. Available to order now, the new machine will be on the Merlo stand at Lamma in January. The first deliveries are expected late Q2, 2024.For more up-to-date farming news click here and subscribe now to profi and save 47%.Share this:TwitterFacebookRedditWhatsApp by Steven Vale More From This Author
